Senior Resources and Benefits (“SRB”) provides its services directly to clients and customers or through third parties known as Associates. SRB is designed to provide easy integration of its information, resources, benefits and services into Associates’ businesses and practices. Associates choose how they want to use SRB’s services in their businesses. Some Associates just make SRB’s information available to their customers. Others assist SRB in providing services to customers in addition to making SRB’s information available to their customers.
Associates which tend to not assist in SRB’s service are typically banks, trust companies, medical providers (i.e., hospitals, physicians, pharmacies, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, etc.) and similar companies. Associates which tend to assist in SRB’s services are usually accountants, investment advisors and other consultants. Both types of Associates see the value in offering SRB’s information, resources, benefits and services to their clients, patients and customers. However, they differ in their approach due to the way they are organized and the nature of their businesses.
Associates choosing not to assist in SRB’s services usually provide more transitory services to their customers. As such, they are not structured to actively participate in providing SRB’s services to their customers. They make SRB’s information, resources and benefits readily available through their businesses thereby enhancing the value of their businesses to their customers.
Associates which assist in SRB’s services tend to provide more continuous services to their customers. As such, they are better equipped to participate in providing SRB’s services to their customers. They also make SRB’s information, resources and benefits readily available through their businesses just like more passive Associate, but they go one step further. They also participate in, and are compensated for, providing SRB’s services to their customers. This not only enhances the value of their businesses but also provides an additional revenue stream to the Associate.
